Since we moved into our home in August 2018, being on a well system we almost rushed to install an R.O. or Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration system for better water quality, etc. It’s been great for us - so great that we stopped buying water bottles! One day I noticed the local market’s water bottles labels stated they were being filtered through the reverse osmosis filtration system and my lightbulb went off. We’ve definitely saved some money and plastic since we stopped purchasing bottled waters and it’s made it a lot easier for us to drink more water as its always available.
As I always find myself searching for a new or effective stomach or gut detoxification until I recently brought myself back to basics. Nothing cleanses and flushes out your system like water does. Proper water and diet intake is the ultimate form of detoxification especially if you have any unhealthy diet or lifestyle habits like caffeine or smoking or extended hours of couch surfing or late night snacking.
Based on my body weight of 127 pounds divided by 2 and then divided by 8 (for the number of oz in my glass), drinking 8 (8oz) glasses of water daily keeps myself hydrated. On the days I do light exercises I will add an extra glass which brings me to nine 8-oz glasses of water a day. This works for me based on my body weight and activities! I have found these 18 oz Kitchen Lux Glass Water Bottles - 4 Pack available on amazon and at 18 oz each the total of four bottles is 72 oz which equates to nine 8-oz glasses of water - how perfect! Drinking each of these four lead, PVC and BPA free glass bottles has made it significantly easier for me to not only increase my daily water intake but also monitor it!
Sometimes I love to add a slices of lemon or lime with cucumber and orange slices for flavor!
