Daily Skincare Routine

1. I always make sure my hands are clean. I rarely touch my face without sanitizing or washing my hands.

2. Cleanse face, neck and décolleté area with the appropriate cleanser for my skin type. I go back and forth with two cleansers. I will either dilute Dr. Bronners 18-IN-1-Hemp Pure Castille Soap Organic Rose (I really like the lavender one also) with distilled water or DERMA-E Acne Deep Pore Cleansing Wash. Sometimes I will double cleanse my face with both cleansers but I don’t do this more than three times a week at most.

3. I like to tone my skin with Thayer’s Witch Hazel either on a cotton swab and I dab all over my face, neck and décolleté or I will have a spray bottle with the product already in it.

4. One of my favorite steps is to moisturize my face, neck and décolleté area. I love this RAYA Vitamin-B Cream because it helps control oil production while hydrating the skin and I have combination skin with a very oily T-zone. This cream works well for me and I would recommend for normal to oily skin.

5. SPF! I know there is a lot of controversy out there on the dangers of sunscreen. You know what there is not controversy over? Skin cancer. I’m really into being proactive opposed to reactive and in my opinion this is just one of those situations.

I love Tizo Ultra Zinc Body & Face Sunscreen Non-tinted. It is a bit on the pricier side but it’s really worth it to me because of how important the topic is and I trust this brand’s sunscreen product. They also offer a tinted sunscreen product that is popular.

Weekly Skin Care Routine

1. After cleaning my hands, face, neck and décolleté area, I will exfoliate. I like to use the RAYA Pineapple Enzyme Facial Scrub or the Mia Clarisonic facial brush with cleanser or sometimes the scrub when I am not in the middle of dermaplane treatments. It really depends on what i’m feeling but I exfoliate about 3 times a week at most.

There is also a RAYA Pumpkin Enzyme Facial Scrub available and a RAYA Bamboo Facial Scrub.

2. After exfoliation I will remove the the scrub with a warm towel and apply a mask to my face, neck and décolleté area. If I really feel like pampering myself I will mix the Aztec Secret - Indian Healing Clay Deep Pore Cleansing Facial & Body Mask with either distilled water or apple cider vinegar and remove with a warm towel after 15 minutes.

In the moments I am feeling lazy, which can be more than not, I love these sheet masks:

Burts Bee’s Hydrating Face Mask Single Use - 6 Pack

Global Beauty Care Premium Charcoal Spa Treatment Mask - 5 Pack

*My fiancé was very skeptical about using a sheet mask but a after this Charcoal Spa Treatment mask he was extremely satisfied with the process and the results!

Global Beauty Care Premium Collagen Spa Treatment Mask - 2 Pack
