My Favorite Make-Up Brush set!

From the few make-up classes I’ve taken, the common advice received was to invest in quality products – both make-up and brushes. I remember one instructor/business owner said she has owned her current set of brushes for over 10 years! Immediately we all jumped down her throat to ask for her tips, tricks and secrets and her simple explanation was to properly care for and clean your brushes.

With that being said, I decided to invest in my own set of quality brushes and I treated myself to the Morphe Babe Faves Face Brush Set. Having owned the set for over 6 months now, I can say the advice has been well received!

1. E3 Precision Pointed Powder Brush – made with synthetic bristles, I love this brush for blush or sometimes loose face powder.

2. E4 Angled Contour Brush – made with synthetic bristles. This brush can be used to apply bronzer but I prefer to use it for my blush because it effortlessly blends. 

3. M224 Oval Camouflage Brush – made with synthetic bristles. Best used for concealer application but I also sometimes use it as a crease brush. 

4. M310 Large Soft Fan Brush – made with natural bristles. The perfect highlighter brush.

5. M438 Pointed Contour Brush – I like to use this brush to contour my nose, but I’ve heard some people use it to set their under eyes or for highlighter. I prefer contouring with this brush.

6. M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush –This brush is perfect for blending liquid foundation or BB cream but I know of a few friends who use it for a cream contour. 

7. M523 Tapered Powder - made with natural bristles. I love this brush for loose face powder but sometimes I will apply my blush or highlight with this one.
