Feed Your Flaws

What Feed Your Flaws Means To Me

What Feed Your Flaws Means To Me

For a decent part of my upbringing, I felt like the imperfection that spoiled the substance. The word flaw was a familiar one to me and I let myself feel judged for some time because I was not someone else’s definition of “perfect”. I was flawed and I still am but today I love having my flaws. The name Feed Your Flaws stemmed from my idea that having flaws is not wrong but the poor perception of a flaw is. A flaw, to my knowledge, has always been something that is considered wrong or negative like a mistake or a fault.

Flaws are everywhere and nothing is perfect. We, as people, are made up entirely of flaws. There can be a flaw or a fault in anything if you choose to see it. Once I realized and accepted that I am surrounded by flaws, I made the decision to appreciate and love mine. They are mine to do whatever I want and I choose to grow them.

I have a concept that if we feed or nourish our flaws, we are believed to be providing them with the right support, attention, and care to be considered fed or nourished. Somewhere along the lines, that same flaw should be considered a changed or improved flaw. It will never be perfect because nothing is, but it would be improved or better than it was. At one point or another, is not improved or better than we were what we aspire to be?

Feed your flaws to grow closer to achieving your greatest potential.
